Scott A. Ferguson Sr is a retired U.S. Secret Service, Uniformed Division Lieutenant turned novelist. Combining his life experiences with fictional situations, Mr. Ferguson brings hope and inspiration to readers in his book Kindness of a Stranger, by Relevant Publishers LLC.
Mr. Ferguson currently resides in southern Maryland with his wife of 38 years, where they raised a family. As a member of the U.S. Secret Service before his retirement in 2016, Scott had the privilege to meet every president from Gerald R. Ford to then-candidate Donald J. Trump. He had the interesting opportunity to begin working on November 22, 1976, the 13th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and performed tasks ranging from standing post at the White House, to patrolling diplomatic locations, serving as a supervisor at the Vice President's residence, and traveling to provide security for U.S. Presidents, foreign presidents, prime ministers and royalty.
