Arlitia Jones will be hosting an free at the Anchorage Barnes & Noble on October 18, 2017 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.  Co-hosting the event will be local actor and director, Ron Holmstrom.  This event is sponsored by the Alaska Writer's Guild, designed to help writers develop their screenplay skills.

Arlitia Jones is an award-winning playwright and poet from Alaska.  She recently wrote the play, Summerland, a unique metaphysical play based on true events in the life of William H. Mumler, a spiritual photographer who took haunting images of the dead.  Ms. Jones' play was hosted at the Cincinnati Playhouse, Shelterhouse Theathre. 

Ron Holmstrom's most recent work includes "The Frozen Ground" and "Sugar Mountain."  The Frozen Ground featured Nicholas Cage, Vanessa Hudgens, and John Cusack along with many others.  Ron reports for FOX-4 and ABC-13 in Anchorage on entertainment news and states he has never been convicted of a felony.
