![]() Ever read an entire fiction story in under 100 words? What that's the challenge of the International Flash Fiction Writing Contest funded by the Fundación César Egido Serrano. The goal of this contest is to write the best fiction story in 100 words or less. The contest is open to four different languages: English, Spanish, Hebrew, and Arabic. The grand prize is $20,000 for the best story, with a second prize offering of $1,000 for the runner up each language category. The deadline for entry is November 23, 2017, as indicated in the time zone of the Spanish Peninsular. By entering the contest, the Cesar Egido Serrano Foundation reserves the right to publish your story. Please note there is a section on the application that requests your ID or Passport number, but that field is optional. To protect yourself, we recommend leaving that section blank.
