This week, the world celebrates Passover and Pascha or Easter, but many do not understand the difference or the importance of both of these events. For the Jews celebrating Passover waiting for Messiah, they do not yet realize He has already come. For Christians celebrating the His resurrection, they do not know their tradition of the days they celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection are wrong according to the Bible. In the year Jesus was crucified, He did not die on a Friday.
In 2019 Passover begins on Friday night, which means this year the actual date of Jesus' death would be at 3pm on Saturday. It also means Jesus' actual resurrection date would occur on Tuesday morning, not Sunday. Jesus was in the grave three days and three nights according to the Scriptures and determined by the Jewish calendar, not the Gregorian calendar.
